Clinical and Counselling Psychologist
Psychotherapist Specialised in Child & Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
PhD in Dynamic, Clinical, and Developmental Psychology
About me
I am a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist and a Psychotherapist, and I have a background in research in the area of child and adolescent psychology.
I graduated in Dynamic, Clinical and Developmental Psychology at “Sapienza”, University of Rome. Then I continued my training by completing a PhD in Dynamic, Clinical, and Developmental Psychology in this area at the same University.

I then qualified as a Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy with a Psychodynamic orientation at the Istituto di Ortofonologia (IdO) in Rome. I am accredited by the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

My professional interest has always been in childhood, adolescence, and parenting, both biological and adoptive. This led me to specialize in the assessment of the parent-child attachment relationship by attending training courses both in Italy and abroad and working as a voluntary psychologist in CAMHS and at Sea View, a service that offers psychotherapy to children and adolescents who are adopted or are in foster care.

I am passionate about teaching and research, activities which I have carried on at national and international level around childhood and adolescence, publishing articles in scientific journals and being constantly involved in continuous professional development, by attending trainings, conferences and seminars.

I currently work as an early career researcher at the University of Edinburgh.
In the future, I wish to be able to keep working with children, adolescents, and their families continuing to support and promote their psychological well-being.
